Carpet Man to the Rescue

Carpet, rugs and tile cleaned in Forney by the same family since 1999.

Casey has been cleaning floors in Kaufman County for 27 years. Carpet, upholstery, area rugs, tile and grout, and the 24 hour call when water has got into a floor and will not wait until morning.

The calls we get

Almost every job starts as one of these five.

Twenty seven years in the same county means the list is short and it barely changes. Take a look at where the trouble actually sits on a floor.

Since 1999

The lighter stripe is the whole job.

One pass, and the difference sits right there in the pile next to the part that has not been done yet. That is the part people photograph and send to their neighbors. What it takes to get there is unglamorous: the right amount of water, and pulling nearly all of it back out again so the floor is damp instead of soaked.

Water and flood calls
24 hours

The one that does not wait

Water gets into a floor at every hour except the convenient one.

Routine cleaning is booked Mon-Fri 8am-5pm. Water and flood calls are answered around the clock, because a soaked floor keeps moving into the pad and the baseboard for as long as it sits.

In their words

The Friday afternoon calls are the ones people remember.

Casey saved my life today! After a long, hard day of teaching 8 year olds, my wife and I came home to find out our 90lb dog had busted out of his kennel and made a mess of our carpet in several rooms. This was on a Friday evening around 4:30, AKA quitting time. Casey came right over after I called him and took care of everything for me! Excellent job on the carpet, couldn't be happier with the service and he did it all for a great price. Now the house smells great, looks great too! If you are in need of carpet cleaning services, Casey is your man!

Casey, owner of The Carpet Man, was timely, friendly and professional. He came right away the next morning and saved my rugs from new puppy accidents before my family flew in for a visit. My rugs were completely clean when Casey left. And best part was he left them nearly dry and not soaked with water like the last unprofessional I used. My house smelled amazing for days! I have already recommended The Carpet Man to neighbors and friends. Make The Carpet Man your only call for carpet cleaning!

Casey is my go to for carpet cleaning and repair for me and my clients! Nearly every home needs to have the carpets cleaned before we bring in professional photographers and it hits the market. I always recommend Casey to do the job and he always does wonderful work at a very reasonable price! - Ryan Cox, Managing Broker, RE/MAX DFW Associates

Before you call

The questions we get asked on the phone.

Hours, not days. The machine pulls most of the water back out on the same pass, so carpet is usually damp to the touch rather than soaked and dries the rest of the way in about four to six hours with the air moving. One customer put it better than we can: her rugs came back nearly dry, not soaked with water like the last cleaner she used. If a room is closed up with no airflow it takes longer, so leave a fan running or crack a window.

Usually out. A pet accident is two problems stacked on top of each other, the stain in the fiber and the smell in the backing and pad underneath. Cleaning only the surface makes the carpet look right for a week and then the smell comes back on the first humid day. We treat the spot down through the backing, which is what actually stops it returning. Rugs are the same, and we have saved plenty of them from new puppies.

Yes, water is the one thing that will not wait. A soaked floor keeps moving into the pad, the tack strip and the baseboard for as long as it sits, so the difference between calling at 2am and calling at 8am can be the difference between drying a floor and replacing it. Routine cleaning is booked Monday to Friday, 8 to 5. Water emergencies are answered around the clock.

Most homes are about once a year. Sooner if you have pets, small children, allergies, or a light coloured traffic lane that has started to go gray against the carpet either side of it. That gray lane is grit sitting down in the pile, and grit cuts fiber every time somebody walks on it, so leaving it there wears the carpet out faster than cleaning it does. Furniture and upholstery are on roughly the same cycle.

We do, along with area rugs, upholstery and air ducts. Grout is porous, so it holds onto everything that has ever been mopped across it and goes darker a shade at a time until the floor looks dingy without any one spot looking dirty. It is the same job as carpet in principle, lift the soil out of the material instead of moving it around on top.

Forney is home. We also run out to Terrell, Kaufman, Crandall, Rockwall, Mabank, Canton, Athens, Wills Point, Greenville and Lindale. If you are close to that list and not on it, call and ask, the answer is usually yes.

Casey, most of the time. This has been a family run business since 1999 and the owner still does the work, which is why the reviews use his first name. Tyler runs jobs as well. Either way it is somebody whose name you can put to the work, not a rotating crew.
